Even factories in the roller bearing and jewellery industries source products from the Fulda-based specialists. The precision balls from Spherotech can be found, for example, in ball bearings, valve balls, roll-on deos, household appliances, linear guides, ball screws, live rings and hinge joints, in jewellery and decorative items as well as in grinding, mixing, polishing balls or float balls for tanks.
They are made of chrome steel (1.3505), carbon steel (1.0616; 1.0010), stainless steel (1.4301; 1.4401; 1.4034; 1.4125) – Tungsten Carbide (6% cobalt binder; 9% nickel binder) - ceramic (Si3N4; Al2O3; SiC; Zr2O3), plastic (POM; PP; PA; PE; PTFE; PEEK), glass (soda lime and borosilicate), of copper, brass, bronze, aluminium and the most varied kinds of rubber (BR; NBR; HNBR; EPDM; NR/NK; SIR; SBR; Viton/FKM; FFKM). Spherotech's range also includes cylindrical and needle rollers satisfying the most stringent quality demands. Machined parts according to customer specifications or drawings, made in keeping with European standards in the TS-16949-certified partner production facility in China are the new offerings in the range.
